We welcome you to visit Full Gospel Deliverance Center Church of God in Christ, where the Word of God is preached to your soul. Whatever you need it's in the house of the Lord. We believe that Jesus died and rose
again that we might be set free. Once you have been touched by God you will never be the same again.
Our mission is to tell the untold, reach the unreached and help the believer's walk in faith and victory.
Remember there is Victory in Jesus! We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ!
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and should be taught and believed in its entirety.
II Timothy 3:15; II Peter 1:20–21
We hold the Word of God to be the only authority in all matters and assert that no doctrine can be true or essential if it does not find a place in this Word.
We believe that our God is a Trinity – God manifested in three distinct persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; coexistent, coequal, and coeternal.
Genesis 1:1, 26; Isaiah 6:8; Matthew 17:5;
John 1:1; 5:31–37; 14:24–26;
I Corinthians 15:24–28; Colossians 1:18–19;
Hebrews 1:4–9; I John 5:6–9; II John 1:9
The Old Testament reveals God in diverse manners,
by manifesting his nature, character, and dominions.
The Gospels in the New Testament give us knowledge of God the "Father" or "My Father”, showing the relationship of God to Jesus as Father, or representing Him as the Father in the Godhead, and Jesus himself that Son.
John 15:8, 14:20. Matthew 6:8 also gives God the distinction of "Fatherhood" to all believers when showing God in the light of "Your Father in Heaven.”
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
We believe that Jesus was and is eternal in his person and nature as the Son of God who was with God in the beginning of creation. John 1:1
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin called Mary according to the scripture. Matthew 1:18
We believe that Jesus Christ became the "Suffering Servant" to man; seeking to redeem man from sin and to reconcile him back to God, his Father, Romans 5:10,
and is now standing as mediator between God and man. l Timothy 2:5
We believe the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, proceeds from the Father and the Son, is of the same substance, equal to power and glory, and is together with the Father and the Son, to be believed in, obeyed, and worshipped.
The Holy Ghost is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping and empowering the believer, making him a more effective witness for service in the world. He teaches and guides one into all truth.
John 16:13; Acts 1:8,8:39
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Ghost was promised by the Father and confirmed by the
Lord Jesus Christ to all believers, even to those in
our current day and age.
Matthew 3:11–12; John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38–39
The baptism of the Holy Ghost is evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Holy Ghost gives utterance; and is received subsequent to the new birth. The baptism of the Holy Ghost empowers believers to live a sanctified life and be a personal witness and is necessary for all believers today. John 14:24–26; Acts 2:4; 10:44–46;
I Corinthians 14:5, 14–15, 39
Adam's sin, committed by eating of the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, carried with it permanent pollution or depraved human nature to all his descendants. This is called the "original sin." Sin can now be defined as a volitional transgression against God and a lack of conformity to the will of God. Therefore, man, by nature, is sinful and has fallen from a glorious and righteous state from which he was created and has become unrighteous and unholy. Man must be restored to his state of holiness from which he has fallen by being born again. John 3:7
We believe that salvation for man, from his sinful state,
is only attained by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ his Son, by his death upon the cross, repentance, and the new birth. Luke 24:47; John 3:5–6;
Romans 10:13; Titus 2:11; 3:5–7; I Peter 1:23
CONVERSION
Conversion is that act of God whereby He
causes the regenerated sinner, in his conscious
life, to turn to Him in repentance and faith.
ll Kings 5:15; ll Chronicles 33:12-13, Luke 19:8, 9; Acts 8:30 REGENERATION
Regeneration is that act of God by which the principle
of the new life is implanted in man, and the governing disposition of soul is made holy and the first holy
exercise of this new disposition is secured.
SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is that gracious and continuous
operation of the Holy Ghost, by which He delivers
the justified sinner from the pollution of sin, renews
his whole nature in the image of God and enables
him to perform good works.
Romans 6:4;5:6; Colossians 2:12; 3:1
We believe that water baptism is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord to believers.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36–39; I Peter 3:21
Water baptism does not take away sins and is not the same as the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:44–48; 11:16; 19:1–5
